The Crash Data Retrieval Technician Training was previously offered as a two individual days, Level 1 and Level 2. The course has been updated as a two day Technician Training Course. The two day Technician Training Course is designed to introduce the investigator to the Bosch CDR Tool, learn of the latest software updates and basic imaging techniques.
The course will provide an understanding of the components necessary for imaging data from the latest supported vehicle manufacturers. There are “hands-on” practical exercises of imaging data from all 3 types of supported modules and the latest information from the OEMs. The student will receive instruction and practical applications in troubleshooting DLC data imaging, practical adapter applications, and “Re-Powering” in-vehicle components to enable data imaging. Students will be taken to a wrecking yard to practice and have the real-world hands on training. Students are encouraged to bring their CDR Tool to use, but it is not necessary.
CDR Technician Class will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm both days.
The CDR Technician Course is the prerequisite to the CSI CDR 40-hour Analyst Course
An Crash Data Analysis Class will be taught the following week at the same location by Collision Safety Institute. Register for that class at: http://www.collisionsafety.net/courses/crash-data-retrieval-certification/
